ABOUT US

The Fleurieu Peninsula Family History Group Inc. (FPFHG) was formed in October 1996 by local people with a common interest in Genealogy, and was later expanded to include local history. Some of our members either live on the Fleurieu Peninsula, or have ancestors who resided in the area. ABN 23 383 729 663.

We have several Special Interest Groups including Computer groups to help members with their research. Our Resource Room holds a large variety of information on CD-ROMs,  as well as a growing library of books, some are reference, but many can be borrowed by the members. Our Journal (magazine) is published quarterly and emailed or posted to members.

We meet each month except December. The monthly meetings are of a social nature and generally feature a guest speaker. We cover many genealogical subjects, as well as local and social history. Please visit the various tabs on our website, and don’t forget to see if you have ancestors living on the Fleurieu Peninsula Fleurieu Pioneers, and join our face book page.

Please check Event Calendar for upcoming meetings and group activities. At General Meetings we have a trading table with home made jam and books etc. Raffle tickets at 4 @ $2 with 3 prizes. Tea/coffee and afternoon tea. Note, cash is required as we do not have EFTPOS facilities.
