This months general meeting has a meeting fee of $2 per person for members or $5 per person for visitors, which includes afternoon tea. For those members that have paid the years meeting fees with their years membership, there’s nothing more to pay.

The Resource Room will be open from 12noon for borrowing books. If you would like to use a computer before the meeting begins it will need to be booked.

The meeting time is 1:15pm and the talk is by Bill Watt discussing the use of land administration records for family history. Bill started working in the Lands Department in 1972, staying employed under the Surveyor-General until retirement in 2022. He gained considerable experience in use of Surveyor-General and Registrar-General records for searching local and state histories.
